B.G. arrested for performing with Boosie in Las Vegas

Last fall, legendary New Orleans rapper B.G. was released from prison, after serving over 11 years in prison. That case initially stemmed from a gun possession case. Furthermore, B.G. wasted no time to quickly release new music. He even put out a joint album with Gucci Mane, “Choppers & Bricks,” in December.

Meanwhile, B.G. is already running into issues, regarding conditions of his release. He was arrested earlier this week, due to performing with Boosie in Las Vegas, earlier this month. As a result, this arrest was conducted on March 27, for violating his parole.

Moreover, some of the conditions of B.G.’s supervised release include obtaining “prior written approval” before receiving self-employment. He also cannot unnecessarily associate with convicted felons such as Boosie. Gucci Mane is also placed within that category.

As a result, Boosie has since taken to Twitter/X to defend B.G. He believes that authorities are simply attempting to incarcerate B.G. again, for simply being a rapper.

“These people are trying to lock B.G. up for rapping, bro,” said Boosie. “This gotta stop, bro. We’ve got to fight for our people, bro… Wrong is wrong.”

Moreover, B.G. also subliminally spoke on the situation, on Instagram. He said he paid his debt to society for 12 years, but still isn’t fully free. He also added that he’s been doing things the right way.

Check out B.G. and Boosie speaking on B.G.’s arrest, below.
