Take a walk down memory lane with The Weeknd. The accomplished Canadian artist is revisiting moments from his debut studio album, Kiss Land. The album was released back in 2013 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts and, according to The Weeknd, was about his own fear. “When I think about Kiss Land, I think about a terrifying place,” he told Complex back in 2013. “It's a place I've never been to before that I'm very unfamiliar with… That's what Kiss Land is to me, an environment that's just honest fear. I don't know who I am right now and I'm doing all these outlandish things in these settings that I'm not familiar with.”

An unlikely musical pairing makes for an impressive duet as YUNGBLUD and Denzel Curry join forces on Lemonade. The English rocker has steadily increased in popularity, especially during his romance with pop star Halsey, and he continues to rise. When speaking about why he wanted to work with the rapper, YUNGBLUD reportedly said, “Denzel was the perfect fit because he is a true activist. His lyrics inspire me daily. He is an artist who is fighting for the same things as me: equality and inclusion across the f*ckin’ planet.” Stream “Lemonade” and leave your thoughts on this one.

When Michael Jordan returned to the basketball court after his first retirement, he blessed us with the Air Jordan 11. This sneaker immediately became one of the most classic Jordans of all-time and for good reason. Of course, this shoe is known for its patent leather upper that wraps around the silhouette. In 2020, the shoe is celebrating its “25th Anniversary” and to mark the occasion, Jumpman is dropping a brand new colorway slated for the Holiday season.
This colorway is appropriately being dubbed “25th Anniversary” and contains a classy all-over black aesthetic with some silver details throughout. Thanks to the Instagram sneaker insider @earlygvng, we now have some interesting new photos of the shoe, that include some insight on what the packaging will look like. As you can see in the post below, the box will be split by a diagonal line with one half being black and the other silver. This look matches the aesthetics of the shoe, which ultimately helps enhance this pair as a colle..
We've heard quite a bit from Lyrica Anderson lately, but much of it has had to do with her marriage to producer A1 Bentley. The two Love & Hip Hop Hollywood stars have aired out their dirty laundry on reality television, but aside from sharing their family secrets with the world, the pair of artists continue to forge ahead with their music careers. On Friday (August 14), Lyrica released her latest studio album Bad Hair Day, a 12-track R&B offering that the Grammy-nominated singer hopes will outshine her current controversies.
Lyrica's accomplishments are well-documented; she co-wrote Beyoncé's “Jealous,” was mentored by Timbaland, and has worked with the likes of Chris Brown, Tyga, Kevin Gates, Ty Dolla $ign, and Lady Gaga. “This album is extremely personal to me for a handful of reasons,” Lyrica said of Bad Hair Day. “For one, it signifies the first time I took full control over my sound as well as my story. This time around I'm willing to share my truth and vulner..
Derrick Jones Jr of the Miami Heat faced a very scary situation earlier this evening as he was playing against the Indiana Pacers. At one point in the match, Jones ran into the arm of a Pacers player which led to his head snapping back in a violent fashion. Jones was shaken up as a result of the incident and was on the floor for several minutes. The medical staff immediately rushed to Jones' aid and put him on a stretcher where he was taken for further evaluation.
Fans rushed to social media to offer a prayer for Jones as the whole situation was quite distressing. Thankfully, those prayers were answered as Jones received some positive news. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Jones suffered a neck strain which isn't too serious of an injury although he will still have to undergo further tests such as an MRI and CT scan.
Jones has been a key piece of the Heat puzzle this season and with the playoffs starting next week, the team will need all hands on deck in order to ..
The United States' 2020 Election is looming and The Simpsons have entered the chat. Recently, Marge Simpson began trending on social media after President Donald Trump's senior legal advisor Jenna Ellis took subtle aim at Kamala Harris. Ellis simply wrote that Harris sounds like Marge Simpson, and days later, The Simpsons, specifically Marge, had a message about the comment.
Dimitrios Kambouris / Staff / Getty Images”I usually don't get into politics, but the president's senior advisor, Jenna Ellis, just said Kamala Harris sounds like me,” said Marge. “Lisa says she doesn't mean it as a compliment. If that's so, as an ordinary, suburban housewife, I'm starting to feel a little disrespected. I teach my children not to name-call, Jenna. I was gonna say I'm pissed off, but I'm afraid they'd bleep it.”
The “suburban housewife” line is a nod to Trump's recent tweet. “The 'suburban housewife' will be voting for me,” Trump wrot..
A quick trip to Nipsey Hussle's mural in Los Angeles has caused an uproar. Tekashi 6ix9ine is in the City of Angels and not everyone is happy to see the rapper touch down. DaniLeigh, The Game, and Reason have all verbalized their opposition to 6ix9ine's L.A. antics, but the rapper remains unmoved. TMZ spotted him on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills on Friday (August 14) as he was hanging out with his friend and collaborator Akon.
Of course, 6ix9ine was mobbing deep with his security team who was quickly ushering him through the streets and back to his vehicle. People stopped to film—and scream at—the rapper as he walked swiftly away from a crowd that was yelling and following closely.
“I love Nipsey,” 6ix9ine told TMZ before adding that he kneeled out of respect. “I love Nipsey just like you love Biggie. That's all it is.” The man behind the camera asked if the rapper had any words for his critics. “Nah. Just love in the city, man.”
The TMZ cameraman wasn't going to let h..
As difficult as it may be to believe, Halle Berry is now a 54-year-old woman.
Celebrating her birthday today, the world-renowned actress celebrated her big day by sharing a beautiful picture on social media, dropping hints that she may be ageing in reverse.
“54….life just gets better and better!” wrote Berry on Instagram. Plenty of her celebrity friends are dropping in the comments to wish her a happy birthday, including Naomi Campbell, Trina, Octavia Spencer, and more. Rico Nasty even stopped in, saying that Halle looks more like she's 19 than 54. We would agree.
In the picture, Halle gives off perfect Malibu summer vibes. She rides on her longboard in nothing but a plain white tee with her swimsuit on the bottom. She looks back at the camera and doesn't look a day over thirty… seriously.
Happy birthday, Halle! And many more!

Baker Mayfield has been one of the most outspoken players in the league and while his play has remained inconsistent, ideologically, he has remained firm on his stances. For instance, Mayfield recently vowed to kneel during the National Anthem as a way to support his teammates who are fighting against racial injustice and systemic racism. While Mayfield has caught some flack for his intentions, he has reiterated time and time again that he will continue fighting for what's right.
Case in point, today, Mayfield was made available to the media, where he was asked by a reporter about his desire to kneel for the anthem this season. As he explained, he has nothing against the troops and that, in fact, he is a huge supporter of the military. Instead, Mayfield just wants to see systemic change in the country.
“I don't have any regrets,” Mayfield said. “I think being in my position, which is a blessing, to be out on a platform where I can speak on issues that …they're just wro..
Russ is an artist that polarizes hip-hop fans. However, whether you like him or not, there is no denying he is successful, especially when it comes to being an independent rapper. Russ is an everyman who can do it all by himself, and he has no qualms about letting you know. He is consistently dropping new music and it's clear that there are plenty of people out there clamoring for it.
His latest song dropped last night and it is called “Throne Talks.” While the name might suggest a song full of braggadocios lyrics, instead, we get a chilled out laid back vibe where Russ gets in his melodic bag. The instrumental contains some shimmering guitar loops that add to the summer aesthetic of the track.
If you need something to relax to, we definitely recommend adding this to your playlist.

Young Dolph has been a champion of Memphis rap over the last few years and when he announced his unretirement from the rap game, fans were absolutely ecstatic. With this announcement came a brand new album, which released last night. The project is called Rich $lave and features a plethora of bangers that have fans reminiscing about why they love Dolph in the first place.
The intro on to the album, “Hold Up Hold Up Hold Up,” is an immediate standout as it has Dolph spitting over a more lowkey instrumental. Throughout the song, Dolph speaks about his come up and how he began with humble beginnings, only to find himself grappling with success. It's a song that certainly inspires you and it's a perfect track to work out to, as well.
